This is the same idea as the script in the games forum, but this script is to remain completely on topic. There will be no random posts, no weird unrelated lines of dialogue. This may actually be used for our film, so please consider that as well... we simply can't do some things... then again, most things are possible.... depending on our creativity.... Cheesy

This is going to be one of a few threads like this. Each should be purposefully different so we have a variety of ideas to work with. Please don't try to make them the same.
Each script thread will be "run" by a member. They have the final call on the script. That's it. What they say goes, so just work around it.

For this thread, I am in charge, djr33.

Format is simple. Please follow it.

For dialogue, CHARACTER NAMES are in CAPS.
Example:
DANIEL: Hey!

Any action is to be in italics using open and close [ I] , [/ I] commands.
This is an example action.

For action embedded into a line of dialogue, simple place it in parentheses-- ().

Example of all of the above:

John walks in.

JOHN (smiling): So... what's up? (He looks around the room.)

We are aiming for a short script, so to start this script off, I'll explain what I plan to have happen in this.

About 4-8 pages of intro/leadup action (not too much exposition)
1-3 pages of climax/resolution.

Let's hope this works out right. Smiley

To begin....

Jim is riding his bicycle down a semi-crowded street. He seems peaceful and is enjoying the day.

Suddenly, a white van drives through a red light, running him over. The van continues, and it is obvious that the people in the van have no interest in the biker left dead or badly wounded in the street behind them.

CUT TO: INT. VAN - DAY.

Also, for a general setup, there are two people in the front, a driver and passenger. The passenger is in charge and the driver works under him.
Another character is in the back of the van. They are there against their will.

So... here we go. Continue the story from this point and try to keep it flowing. I will edit any Off Topic posts.

PASSENGER: Don't you call me "sir". We're in this together, remember? It's like you're trying to blame it all on me.

GIRL IN BACK (hereby known as STEPH) struggles with her hands tied behind her back.

STEPH (confused, frightened): What's going on? Who are you? What do you want from me?

Steph stops struggling, and pulls out a rope from behind her back.

STEPH (a bit more confident): ...And Why are you so bad at tying knots?

JIM: Trust me.

He reaches through the window/opening between the front and the back and (closeup) of her hands being cut free.

JIM: Now... Quiet!

DJR33 EDIT:

Sorry, Danny... but I don't see that happening... I've got an idea for where the story is going.
For on thing, the girl can be filmed  completely separately from the guys... just composited together. They wouldn't bring her through a tiny window anyway. No offense, good work so far.

anyway.... NEXT!

Quote
Girl nods.

JIM: Can you get out of the window without making too much racket?

JIM: We're  not gonna say anything. We've just got a bit to go. Now sit back down and stay quiet. You don't want me to have to make you.
She obeys.
