Took a little while, and I did it.  I noticed that it doesn't look the way it's supposed to (thus masterzap's 3d panning tutorial) but it does look ok.

The full sized picture is 14,000 pixels wide.

This one is only 6400.

But hey, check it out!

whoa cool! Do you have a good camera for doing that? or did you have to do the "Line up multible pictures" thing? I hate that feature...

Basically I just took the regular old digital camera and took enough pictures to complete the circle.  Then, I pasted them all into photoshop and morphed them together.

Simple! Cheesy

Hope that helped!

Yea thats what I meant...The only way I've seen this done without a million dollar camera is this effect where you take a picture, that picture is then sillouted onto the screen (so you can still see the background for the next shot) and your supposed to line up the next shot with the old one. It worked, but it just seemed like a crude way of doing it.

Yours looks pretty good though

Have you seen this panoramic before?

I'm gonna use a vaguely on-topic reply to remind you folks that I have a gf.

Fixed it for you.

I used to have a program that would automatically morph the pictures for you.  I don't know what happened to it...  Anyways, cool picture.
