No film should be re-made IMO. They should stay in the hall of fame they are and make sure everyone of this generation get's exposed to what was great of the past.

Instead of re-making a film, maybe they should buy a new writer's original script and give him/her a chance.

I haven't really seen any good re-makes. I mean I liked the new italian job, enough to buy it, but not enough to say it was wonderful, and I'm sure other people didn't like it. I wouldn't care too much if it hadn't been made in the first place. But I dunno, the whole idea of something being re-made... like what's the point? If the movie was great in the first place, wouldn't you risk ruining the movie?

Well, at least it'll be better than the sequel.  I mean, it'd have to be.

It will be interesting to see how Bryan Singer's remake of 'Logan's Run' turns out. Retrospectively, i think of the original as being great but when watching it  I can see how it could have been better (The acting is pretty flat). The whole story is amazing, which is why I loved the film after watching it. Maybe Singer can make LR into the first great remake. Or not.

I hate it when they re-make films. It's like when stupid Rappers use a beat from an old song.

I think oceans 11 is awesome (not oceans 12). the original is bad though.

But the birds is a classic. how weird.

Not the Pirattes of Penzance. I don't think there's a single way anyone could improve that movie. It is utter perfection.

Hmm... I'd love to remake Star Wars. The first one. That would be awesome.

I'd like to remake The Rescuers. But as it's a cartoon i'm not sure how i'd make it; use live-action with cgi or maybe live-action all the way, with the actors dressed in big mice suits......... Yeah, that's how i'll do it.  :nerd:

Totally.  Too bad it's all rather lackluster nowadays.

Damn you Michael Bay, you leave Alfred alone!

I wasn't joking about remaking The Rescuers, Tech. I'd love to do that film. I'd probably do it with cgi+live-action.
