It is my duty to inform the boards, that tonight, at approximately 4:20 PM PST,  our very own Dan "d33jr" died en route to his skiing vacation in the mountains. He was traveling northbound when the roads became eccesively slick, the van lost control and went over the side of the mountain railing. The van plumitted and rolled 3000 feet before stopping. The EMS arrived approximately two hours after the accident was reported, there were no survivors. There were however, several vultures picking at the corpses.

We only know this information because I tried to call Dan and see what he was up to. To my surprise, Dan did not answer, but someone else did, an officer. Officer Willenholly of the Federal Wildlife Marshall's Office. He told me the terrible news, and here I am telling you all. Today is a sad, sad day for the Big Red Button Community.

Rest In Peace

Edit: If you couldn't tell this was a joke by now...you are a sad, sad individual.

Horrible. Simply horrible.

I'm sure Dan will be sad too when he gets back.

I like how you used the "worried" face on your post instead of a sad one.  It's like you anticipated your getting reamed when he gets back...

...rises from the dead...

...half eaten by vultures...

...wait, they have vultures in Colorado?

Anyway, when's the funeral?  And more importantly, who's brining the chips and dip?

Officer Willenholly, like from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?

Interesting.  I thought he wasn't real.
