Id think the rings would hit the wall and kinda widen and speard across the wall, untill the last rig has gone off the wall.

Erm...your avator seems a bit ...erm....this face says it all :tsktsk:

As for stun blaster thingimajig, I came across this picture on the internet...
And you should always believe whats on the internet Tongue

As for if it hit a wall, i would say it would dissipate just because it seems to lack the nature of an explosion.

I found a great picture here, on this site.  The shot's straight-on.

Now, I want to create this effect in paintshop pro, but I want the ring to be coming from the side. Does anyone know how I can make the ring come from the side? Thanks

Well, if you're going with the 'cylinder' hypothesis, it'd just look like a blaster bolt.

If you're going with the 'expanding ring' idea, then..er..it'd look like an expanding ring, except from the side?  Add some perspective if you have to..but otherwise it'd just look like an expanding line.

Unless that's not the question you're asking?

No, the question was how could I make it look like a ring from the side in Paitshop pro. I know how to make it glow and become smaller, just not make a side-view of a circle.

Uh.  Well, a side-view of a circle is a line.  That's an absolute side-view.  Otherwise..uh..just make a loop of paper and turn it sideways to give yourself a perspective tool?  I don't really know what to say here.

And if Cramer says "This Kevin Smith Movie is good", then take his word for it cause the man knows his Smith Flicks. - Mike N.

That pic Shadowbeast posted is pretty much how I'd make it look.

no offense man, but since all of your films are at such a low framerate, all this research really isnt neccessary. just use the paintbrush, blue and not fully opaque and you have a decent looking few frames.
