OK, I'm still not even half as good as Ian, but I'm trying to be (Teach me master).
Here is a basic shape for the cockpit of the airship.  Lots of little doo-dads and panels and wires will be added soon.  oh, and glass to. (Does anyone know how to do glass in blender? I tried but kind of ended up with a chrome instead.  Oh well.  Will keep at it.)

We actually had a bunch of people from Utah come to our school today. It was sweet. They stood outside our classroom waiting for something, and we went over to the window, and tried to communicate through the glass.

This is only relevant cause you're from Utah.

And even then, I guess it's not relevant anyway.

DUDE! That image is freakin' awesome! I mean, heck, I only gave you that concept image last night! You are a beast! I'm lovin it! And you even matched the lighting up with that in the concept image! Incredible!

I like what you're doin with it. You're makin' it a bit more spacious than the concept image, which will really help when we put the wheel in.

Oh man. You are... oh man.

I'll call you later today and we can talk some stuff over. Oh man.

I'll see if I can get you the other concept images for other views later today.

You get the gold star of the day. I"M SO HYPED!

THanks man. !
Funk E.  Your right man.  That never occured to me!

(Sword is figting on the airship and the captain kirk comes in and says: "what... are.... you doing...
on... my... BRIDGE?..." ).

I like this one better.  There the doodads on the left panel are just messing around. Don't worry about them.  Oh, and the glass is CRUD.

And here's a different idea for the "Wheel".

We were originally going to have a giant ships wheel, but this kinda goes with the whole "old and new" theme we've got goin'.

Any thoughts Should we just stick with the big wheel?

See, it kinda all folds up and rises up into the ceiling.

Yup.

Lol. You said you enjoy challenges?  Tongue

You've actually got a pretty complete steampunk aesthetic going here.
