I've tried premiere, but I can't do premiere, because I let my friend barrow the disk, so he could mess around on some home videos.

Hehe... Does this forum have the same anti-piracy policy as TFN, forcing guys like this to make up the silliest excuses you've ever heard as to why reinstalling the program (or reading the manual) is totally out of the question?

Obviously we can't support piracy. Not really sure if we aren't (legally) allowed to let people discuss it, but it's certainly stupid to post "yeah, I stole that program" Tongue

Plus, I'd go with him lending it to a friend... I mean... assuming you downloaded it once, why not download again. Almost easier than putting the CD in. Heh.
There's no reason that downloading it would mean you can't reinstall....

At the risk of sounding accusatory, viruses are often embedded in illegally downloaded programs.  Just a random fact.

Wow, I've done my learning for the day. I actually had to look up accusation.

Anyway, no I was searching for information on the 10,000 days album, to see if it was a decoy or not. I clicked a link in google. Norton tells me It removed a virus. I believed it, but my dad never bought a new anti virus program, so when I think about it, who knows if norton removed it completly. Hell maybe a nother virus sliped by it. 2003 edition=who knows.

which reminds me. Can a virus screw up your router? Like make certain web pages show up, other not show up. kill the internet completely. that kind of thing?

Here is my theory. macs' work, because they don't has all this werid stuff inside. they just work. Pc's put all these werid little programs and things inside that are not that useful and don't work alot of the time. Its my theory, its probably wrong, but there you go.

my computer won't log in to any secure pages... mostly anything that's https:// rather than http://

dunno... viruses are icky. yes, probly could, but could also just screw up your computer so only certain stuff works... more than the hardware of the router.

I hate GTA myself...

And to solve your problem of having to reinstall the program and all, just get the CD back from your friend. That'll not only allow you to fix the problem (most likely) but also stop these jokers from accusing you of downloading.

And if you DID download it, not saying you did, but just in case, you know you can get Adobe Premiere Elements for 99 bucks Smiley I did, replacing the quite buggy "warez" version (yes, I admit it!!!) I had beforehand.

But Elements has been good to me, so no complaints.
