Hey guys, I'm working on a small project that's being entered my university film club's end-of-year film festival and I'm looking for a composer.  I might end up posting on versusmedia about it, but I figured I'd give some of our resident composers a chance first.

The overall feel of the film is sort of a cross between action and humor.  It's hard to describe, but I can provide you with a rough cut at any time and you'll see what I mean.

The deadline is this Tuesday, April 25th, in the evening, but it's a short flick, under two minutes, so hopefully it won't be too hard.  Anyone who's interested can post here and I'll get back to you.

Thanks.

You really gotta give more forewarning of this. You'll get a result as good as the amount of time put into it, ya know Smiley Or somebody with a random track somewhere will spot this and happen to know their track will fit...

Heh, totally.  If I'd had more forwarning, I'd have given it.  I wrote this thing two days ago and shot it this afternoon.  I realize it's short notice, and I do apologize, but everyone, including me, is under a tight schedule (FX shots for me).

And really, it can be a pretty bare-bones arrangement.  Nothing fancy required.  If anything I'll just need some cues at the beginning and end to bookend the piece.

I'll just put in a good word.

I saw the rough cut of this.

It's short and it's sweet. I love it.

It would be interesting and fun to compose to, I'd say.

Fun short... Smiley
