But an open-posting system encourages 'me-too' answers.

"me-too"?

I realize this. Maybe it should just be a one question per round thing. That would make it easier to have it be open posting.

Just... at this point, obviously, no one seems to care.

It's a cool idea. I hate to see it die.

Well, considering that each round is only supposed to go for a day or so, the thread shouldn't drop much.  Especially since the runner of the game bumps the thread by giving updates like:  "suchandsuch is in the lead with 3/5".

Just give me a leap of faith here, guys.

On that note, I have 3 PMs to answer.

EDIT:  Done...  primetime62 is in the lead with 3/5.

At the last minute, Funk rides up on his motercycle and hands me his answers.  And he got 3/5.  That ties him with Primetime.  Shocked

Funk wins the tie breaker with 2/3.

Evidently, neither of you will be making a White Russian any time soon.  The key ingredient you missed is Kahlua.

Vodka, Kahlua, and milk (or cream)...  Over ice, mix well.

Other answers...

The name TIE Fighter is an acronym for Twin Ion Engine.  Hence, it has 2 engines.

And guitars are tuned to E.

Take it away, Funky!

I count the minutes.

In fact. That should be one of the questions. How many minutes.

Funk...  Please...  That was really funny and all...  But that email just circulated a few weeks ago.

Is that seriously your round?

No, it wasn't.  Making fun of your 'no trick questions' comment.
