An IMDb user praising this "diverse" and "complex" music:
"Look at the incredible variety of themes he does - from Gladiator, a masterpiece, to Matchstick Men, a fun, jazzy style, then Pirates - a theme that moviegoers (however musically inclined they may be) will never forget. These scores are not only more diverse, but more complex as well."    :-\

Our garbage compactor on the rig does all that.  In fact, I'm going to start calling my rig the Noble Death Star.  Noble Max Smith sounds gay.  Gay in a bad way, like super-hero gay.  Not cool gay.  Heh.  But yeah, garbage compactor...  Think I'll push someone in so they can test this theory...

How'd they do this?

Transparent ground.

Between the combination of those two phrases, I think there are very few people who will not click on the link.

Fitting, isn't it, Sage, that an Oil Rig would be named after a ship in the Evil Galactic Empire. Getting more and more true every day, right? I mean... how long til Iraq is completely wiped out? Afghanistan is pretty much there. Korea soon?
We shall see. But, yes, I fully support the new name for the Oil Rig. Good call Smiley
...If for only the trash compactor Cheesy... but... does it just dump the trash into the ocean or do you have special waste ships that.... //buying into the article too much Tongue
Ha. Anyway...

Ian, weird clip. I can't really figure it out. I usually am very good at figuring out how something was done even if I can't come close myself.
I'm leaning toward it being mostly if not all CG. There's no other way. The camera rotates... can't be much else. The buildings obviously weren't suspended in the air like that.
It might be mostly CG with some real people filmed from underneath on a small set then shrunk and rotated (or filmed with a motion controlled rotating camera).

The one that gets me is the one with the people and everything else just walking like on a treadmill, but in real life. It's not that complex, but looks really cool.  Same kinda thing, I suppose.

Has to be, but the people look too real in some cases.
So... it's just some people filmed on a tiny set then comped on.
Right? Has to be...
