So I finally wandered over this way...  Who's who?  I think I already know a few cats here and there from TFN and 2k.

Oh, also... Can I use colorful language here, or is that a big no-no?

As long as its like rainbow colors its cool...

Wow...hmm

Okay, im going to be the responsible one and be serious for a moment, heh.

Its not really a big issue here. I mean f this f that f you f cups isnt really neccasary, but a few hear and there is pretty cool...just try not to offend anyone.

On another note

Welcome, stick around..dont leave or I might hunt you down

How about f-stops?  Bwahaha... I kill me.

Another question, how advanced are the film-folk here?  For the cats that know me, in terms of general knowledge and experience, am I on the higher end of things, or the lower?

PS - Nice to meet everyone, especially you, Fig...

I'd definitely say you're on the high end.

Edit: In fact, I bet you'd get a lot of response if you made a "Grip/Electric/Cinematography" thread here.

The atmosphere is purposefully friendly here. If someone asks a question, help them out, don't say they should know it already. The language policy follows that. We purposefully don't have any rules about it, but we will moderate if it gets out of hand. Keep language minimal, and flaming is a big no-no. We're not language cops, but we will step in if it becomes an issue of any kind. Just... hang out for a day or so and you'll see how that's going.

Sorry, but I don't know your skills, so I can't compare you. However, I will say that we have all levels of filmmaker... those just beginning, and then FCRabbath and Mrdodobird, who are definitely on the more advanced end of the spectrum.

And.. hi, I'm Daniel. Ask if you need anything.

I'm with Nick on this, you definately are on the higher end of the spectrum here. For the most part...this place is just like a middle step between TFN and NP2K.

TFN=total noobs.

BRB= Moderate noobs.

NP2K= assholes  Cheesy

And if Cramer says "This Kevin Smith Movie is good", then take his word for it cause the man knows his Smith Flicks. - Mike N.

Colorful language is perfectly acceptable here.
