Well, I dunno if this is deserving of another thread, but Ideality is FINALLY NEARING COMPLETION!

It's been a year and 3 months so far.

Way too long, especially with so many awesome movie projects existing in the world.

So yeah, I have about 40 minutes completely locked intot he timeline, in final form.

Just about 5 more minutes to go.

But they're a tough 5.

Someday I'll have to go through this forum, and see all of the things that people suggested, or never happened, over the year.

I know many things were deleted, for sheer "having to actually finish the movie"-ness.

But yeah. 40 minutes.

Rock on.

Now all I gotta do is plop in the other 5 (Could conceivably take a month, Probably not. Conceivably just a week, conceivably a couple days), and ship it off to Jeremy so that he can compose the music.

From what I've heard, the music will be glorious.

The site's kinda not being updated, although in theory it's gonna get totally revamped.

For those of you not in the know, we now have an official address: www.idealitymovie.com

Nothing's new, though. I'm not even updating the news anymore. Lame, eh?

I'm running on vapors, I suppose.

And while Jeremy works on the music, I'm gonna finish up the DVD, and whip together a boat load of special features.

Party on.

I was at your blog at school, and I soon had a group of kids going "wow" around me at the trailer. I guess I've just kinda gotten used to all of that stuff... and find it normal to have a brother who can put robotic stuff in a movie with peoples.

Well! I thought I'd finished Ideality tonight!

Really! I thought I had! (excluding music).

But then I skimmed through it, and found some major missing chunks, which I must put in.

Here's what's up.

As time goes on, I'm getting more and more desperate to finish this thing, so I can move on to bigger and better stuff. (better, being the key word).

Meaning that this has become an obligation.

Which I will finish, quite soon! Possibly tomorrow!

But the more of an obligation it is, the less I'm working on it. THe more I'm reusing effects and sounds, the less time I'll spend to recreate shots digitally to polish off an editing goof....

Meaning that the later stuff isn't that good, and the early stuff isn't that great either, as I did it a year and a half ago.

I think I'm on this big "put down Ideality" campaign just cause I'm really really scared. So many people are looking forward to it. "Definately waiting on bated breath for this one..." "More excited about this than I am of any other movie release in the past year..."

I'm goin'.... it's good.... but it's got a lotta faults....

Just don't let your hopes get to high, and be pleasantly surprised.

Hopefully it'll be a nice 40 minutes. Smiley

As far as PROGRESS goes, though! It's going well! I finished a scene yesterday, and another today (actually had to create an entire scene for a greenscreen shoot).

It's only 16 seconds, but still. Smiley

Its horrible when projects are sitting there unfinished.

As long as you have all the cool stuff we've seen already, it'll be plenty more than watchable.

There's no doubt in my mind that it won't be perfect, but I'm sure it'll be well-worth watching.

Don't lose hope!
