This is an idea that I had that would help promote composers and would create easy access for filmmakers to get royalty free tracks.

http://thebrb.com/stockpile

the StockPile is a free stock media site designed to help everyone out. Images, audio, video and other items can be contributed and used for free in films. The creators will be credited in productions that use the material also. The creators also retain full rights to the material.

Anyway, the idea with composers is that you can submit tracks that can be used in short films. It will be free adverstising for you and helpful to filmmakers.

Please ask if you have questions.

This can be considered a beta trial, so help us out with any ideas that you may have. Smiley

May I suggest, "I want to eat a dog"?

A pleasurable addition to any soundtrack.

I think somebody who can play an instrument should go and make their own music and submit it to the BRB...

...it could be a contest!

Your guitar sounds outta tune.

Good vocals, though.

Does Garry Pinches/Jedi_master charge money for his works? I'm seriously considering him to do a piece for Star Wars Tales.

His music in the stockpile is for free use.
I know he's helped out with Ideality.

I have no idea, though. You could just send him a PM Smiley

Am I getting him confused with someone else?

Didn't he do a bunch of Sound FX work?

Maybe he didn't finish it? I just know that he was planning to. I remember, specifically, a shot of the spider robot with his great sound FX mix.
