This forum will, hopefully, integrate composers into our community.

Composers will get music placement, and filmmakers will be able to have music in their films.

This will hopefully increase networking dramatically.

If you can: Help out by inviting your composer contacts to check out this new feature.

Off topic: Please keep all off topic discussions in the social section. Yes, this includes "wow, there's this cool new song I just heard," etc.

This section is for talking about soundtracks and music composition.

Enjoy!

We're just testing this out to see how it works, so let us know what you think Smiley

Just a quick add on here:

If you need to know the name(s) of a certain track, or score in a film, most likely one of us will know. This is the place to do just that. Just to get this "party" started;

Howard Shore should have composed the music for King Kong. Not that James Newton Howard's work isn't good. I just think Howard Shore would have done something a tab bit better.

So what was the name of that one track, you know, from that one movie?  It went sort of like this: la da da la da dum do.

Great Idea Daniel!  Smart move on this thread...

And Justin, I absolutely know that one you're talking about, I think.  It's right on the tip of my tongue...

It was in the movie with the one cut of music during the scene with the one guy, doing that weird thing, while the music went la da DA la da dum do.  Then it repeats during that one other scene, with the other guy.

IS that the one?
