The game is obvious, so I won't go into great detail.

Basically, post a riddle. Take turns trying to solve it.

With each day the current round remains unsolved, you must post a new hint.

We'll see how this goes and maybe change it around a bit. (Like you can ask questions or have two rounds at once. Let's see first, though.)

Please don't just google the riddle and cheat or anything.

To begin--

"What has four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon and three in the evening?"

A person, though I've never liked that one.  As common as they are, I don't like metaphors in riddles, they seem to defeat the purpose.  Did the original use the time of day references?

Good play though.

Anyway:

What binds two people, yet touches only one at a time?

A contract?

as for mine, what do you mean by good play? That's from greek myths.... not a play that I know of. Hmmm... maybe it was adapted into a play.

Nope.

And I recall the incident taking place in Oedipus Rex.

A priest or other person who marries a couple?

(Hmm... I haven't heard of that, but I do know that it is definately from the greek myths. Either that is a greek myth or it is taken from the tale with the sphynx of the myths....)
