Yo Moguls,

I was working on setting up my Dad's website, and I made the following banner (attached). I used a green background/white text GIF and pasted on top of that a JPG cut out of Dad.

I used Paint to do it.

However, in Bitmap (24bit) form, it looks great, but in JPG it looks smudged (Dads blog here). And GIF format looks horrible too, of course.

My question is, does someone here have the ability ( + desire) to change this BMP to a JPG without smudging as badly?

 Thanks for any help!

For images like these, a better alternative to JPG is PNG.  PNGs use lossless compression, so there is no quality loss.  Here is a 17K PNG version of the image.  It should display fine in all modern browsers.

Thanks, Justin. That will work perfectly.
