I watched and rated it. Thanks for coming back to the forums  Grin

This was a good video. I don't know what the requirements were for length or anything but I thought this could've been much better if it was shortened down to about 30 seconds, the standard length of a commercial. The gag is pretty good (a man acting like a fish to get his Klondike bar) but the fact this was extended over a minute wears it out pretty thin. You could've easily cut some of the silly reactions of the characters and cut straight to the action, like most commercials tend to do. Overall it was still good and good luck with the contest.

Hey Guys!
I have a new video online and I really need your help!

My friend Andrew Bartels and I made a video for the Klondike Bar video contest in hopes of funding our great adventure to LA to become famous filmmakers! Please Help!

Okay... so you have to register to vote.. Yeah it sucks. But, I'll love you forever if you do. Smiley

If you go to the search and type in fishingforklondike you should see my video. I entered into three categories and if you're only going to vote in one, vote in laughs. If you have time, vote for all of them!

Also check out Andrew's other entry until the screenname "ANDREW BARTELS"

Let me know what you think of the video!

I've defiantly done that level this movie's based on  Grin I highly enjoyed this sequence, very much especially since I've played the game. All the designs in this were spot on (especially the environments) and the way the level played cinematically was very nice. Love the use of the main character's (forget his name!) different weapons. It's a great little bit at the end when the explosion makes you not sure if the terrorist got to the bomb and blew the train up or the main dude stopped him.

While non players of the game may just enjoy the cool animation, I appreciate it a whole lot more for its closeness to the source and as a great little film. Which is what fan filming is all about.

Hey there, didn't notice anyone replied to this thread :p
Since I posted that thread I am about 99.99999% completed with this film, however if you feel you could really do some nice voices then I would be happy to hear them. and possibly replace some of the other voices I already have.

The kind of accents I was looking for were American since these terrorists were actually supposed to be american citizens who got angry (theres a really deep backstory with the NSF or North Sessesionist Force that is really interesting :p)
So if you can do an american accent with a slighty gruff tone to it that would nice and I will surely give it a listen.

Cheers mates Cheesy

I'll give the voices a try, too, if you need 'em.
Any particular sort of accent/tone you need? I'm not familiar with the style, but I can try a few different things. Would a mix of accents be good or do you want them consistent?

This really depresses me seeing threads made over two years ago and realizing I'm still working on that same damn movie  Embarrassed Well, I am still in production of Star Wars Tales, but it finally seems to be coming to a close. I'm currently working on the last part of the film and I think the whole thing should be out by November at the latest. If you want to see more, please go to the new and much much improved site at www.swtmovie.com No new trailer yet, but there's plenty of new pictures and stuff.

When I made a post today it said I made that post 38 years, 6 months, 18 days ago. That's either a bug or this forum is trapped in a time warp and my post predates the internet.  :Smiley
