I'll post a picture describing what I mean when I get home from work. I'm having difficulty putting my thoughts into words.

Ahh! But I was more thinking about how it would actually fly while attempting to land when it's wings were in that postition, but I guess if it had a runway it could kinda work. (although I wouldn't want to try landing something this top heavy. )

Wait... nevermind... I just realized that once I add the tail, we can solve that no problem.

Well, the tail could help with that.
And hey, nobody aside from super hardcore aviation dorks ADMIN EDIT: COMPLAINED when a similar design 'faux pas' was featured in Aliens.
I just like the folding wing design.

As do I.
Once I have time, I'll put little wheels and such in, and make the tail.

Very cool... if one of the engine goes out, it looks like it could start flapping it's "wings".
...Add that tail you're talking about...

This'll probably be part of the landing bay she uses for the Dinner scene, when she comes in for a landing at the resteraunt. Hopefully, anyway. Not really sure.

I second, it is awesome, but I just want your thoughts on why you shaped it that way... for cinematographic reasons?

I would like to talk to the mod that edited my post. I'm willing to bet it's djr, and if so, screw you, that's a PG-13 swear. Don't do it again, you power trip enough. ADMIN EDIT: Don't flame I'm not trying to prove any point.... simply trying to keep everyone happy. And how do I power trip? PM me if you have a problem. I'm happy to talk. /djr33

I'm just a mod. Actually yes, the little spikey things had a different purpose. This was oroginally going to be a giant launching tower for the giant rocket, but I changed it, cause the other way didn't make sense. I just haven't gotten rid of the weird spike grabber things. It'll probably be sticking out from a cliff wall or something.

Whew! This has been fun, I must say. This thing is almost building itself. After a bit more work, here we go! The entire little runway collapses on on itself in a most delightful way, if I do say so myself. And I do! I'll have to post an animation later. So the plane lands on the runway, it closes behind her, she gets out, and walks through the hole in the rock to the other side, in which she sees the Resteraunt where they have breakfast. Should be fun!
