SECRETARY: Yes. Well.... of course. She works here every day... like me. I'm afraid she hasn't been in today, though. A man called her in sick this morning. Why? Is everything alright?

JIM: You know what you did. You know why you're here. If you were a smart little girl you'd do everything we're going to ask you so that you can be out of here with only a flesh wound. But I know you. You won't do that. Bruno, show the broad what we can do.

MAN: Where do you think they could have taken her?
BOSS: First, lets figure out where they didn't take her: They didn't take her to her workplace.
MAN: Isn't that a given?

BOSS: Well... is now.
MAN: Any ideas, Boss?
BOSS: Well.. let's figure out what we have to go on. This led us to a dead end.
MAN: Actually, maybe not... on our way over... remember that report of a van hitting a biker? They were obviously in some hurry, witnesses said. I bet that's the van they took her in. She would have been on her way to work this morning....and they just grabbed her there. That would make sense for the Van to have been on Park Blvd...
BOSS: But that still means we have to find the van.
MAN: Yes, but that shouldn't be too hard. I have an idea.
The pair heads back to their black undercover police car. Man uses the radio to talk to the operator.
MAN: Did we get a license plate on that van this morning?
OPERATOR: Hmm... let me see... yes. One of the witnesses was able to write down enough digits for us to find the owner. We sent officers to the home, but she was found dead.
MAN: Have you found the van yet?
OPERATOR: No. Sorry, Sir.
MAN: Does it by chance have a low-jack in it?
OPERATOR: Yes, but we don't have the right paperwork. The owner must--
MAN: I don't think she'd mind. Shes DEAD. Run it.
OPERATOR: That would be against protocol. I--
MAN: Just run it. We'll deal with that later.
