Diner Tunes?

There is a scene in PM where Wermo briefly visits Dexxter Jettster's Diner (if you have a short memory he's the guy with the four arms in Attack of the Clones who tells Obi-Wan about the Kamino Saber Dart). I was looking in that scene again and I had a thought for my film. It might be cool if I had some music in the background, like blues or 50's rock that'd send images of the old American diners back into the mind. Is that a dumb idea or should I use it? I know I should decide these things as director but sometimes I need a little help.

What would be cool is to have someone compose a basic 50's era jazz song, but sythesize it in a way that it sounds more like weird "Star Wars-y" instruments that aren't quite like those on Earth.  That way, you have the style for the throwback, but you also keep it within the Star Wars reality.

Good idea    If anyone knows of such a person who could do that or can do it themselves let me know. I tried looking for a jazzy composer to do another part of SWT and that didn't go too well.  <_<
