Alrighty everyone, now's the time i come out and tell you I've been working on my first feature. Ok it's not going to be two hours long...but it is the longest project I've worked on. The production values are out the roof! I'm loving every second of it!
So here's the first official blog for it!
Let's start back at Day one.

Here you see my starlet Calais in her opening scene. I am manning that mighty Canon XL1S, and Ryan is operating the boom mic. Good fun this was.

Oh yes, we mustn't forget to white balance!
Anyways, not much else happened in this scene except for her diologue. Interesting enough though, Rachel is sitting just off to the left, you can see her feet in the shot.

Here we set up the candles for the entrance of King. Here's a shot without that horrible white flash:

Yes. The clichÈ trail of candles. Sue me.
Day Two
Here's day two. Anyways, all hell broke loose. King didn't know where Dairy Queen was. We had to wait on him to get there. In the meantime i got a few coverage shots as well as getting the release forms signed for Dairy Queen. King finally arrived and we set up. here's the first take, just as the moon was rising.

Ryan did his part really well. I commend him for his professionalism while on the set. I wish I could say the same for the rest of the crew...
Here's King's debut shot...a little dark, but nothing After Effects can't fix.

"Isn't he adorable?" ~ Calais.

The opening two-shot. Nothing spectacular here.

Calais doing her makeup for the big night. This shot goes into the montage. I LOVE MONTAGES!
Ok ok...here's the part you've all been waiting for....the bedroom scene.
There are no behind the scenes pics for this because the camera batteries died. We replaced them...but someone forgot to keep taking pictures.

The heat of the pull!

The first passionate kiss!

Fun with the drapes!

Wasn't what you expected, was it?
Well, there's not much to explain as to what's going on in those pictures. I trust you can figure it out. As for a little fun, I took these by accident while no one was watching. Enjoy!

Super Sexy Calais!
and my personal favorite:

Calais having fun in the heat of the pressure.
I have to commend my actors and actress for all of their hard work. They really went above and beyond my expectations. Expecially Calais. I love you girl!
Rachel did her part as well, she read lines offscreen, was emotional support for Calais in the bedroom scene, and even helped with the sound. Not to mention she was temporarily the historian for behind the scenes. What a trooper eh?!
Ryan...he's my bitch. He does anything I tell him to. Not really, but he has become an immense help with helping with the script, the lighting, and acting in this too. Good job man!
