New Stop Motion film

News:
--script draft 1 is up.
--got a voice test from yodaman, awaiting more
--planned some more... no real work in the last couple days


I went today to get some LEDs (light emitting diodes -- little light bulbs) and got a few, a couple cool looking holders for them and some connecting wires/things to connect to 9V batteries.
I was planning to make some awesome stoplights for the stage setup. ...and I still will.
I just forgot that 9V is higher than the LEDs can handle when I tried it, thus overloading them and burning them out. They flashed real bright though
I'll try it with smaller batteries soon, though. Should still be awesome.

ok... meh.

9V burns the out in one quick flash.
AA/AAA don't do a thing (remember, 1.5V)
two AAs/AAAs connected turn it on right for a sec, then it starts... burning... and I smell plastic, it flickers, slowly dies, and gets really hot.

I'm missing something.

I'll ask my physics teacher or something... maybe.

Thanks, but that stuff, at least on first glance, is quite a bit beyond what I'm doing.
I'll look a bit more later if I can't figure it out.
