Those are pretty sweet tests, though like Justin said, I'd love to see them more in context with a film.

Some close ups and mediums, you know?

Well, but that's assuming he's trying to make his FX test a "Short", as so many lightsaber people's do. He's not. He's just tryin' to do an awesome effect.  Cheesy

Hey thanks guys again. And yeah I agree Mrdodobird, there was no real point in me adding more angles and what not cuz I was just trying to do the effect. If theres no story but added shots then its still rather pointless. These tests were just what they were... tests hah. They will be added in the show that I'm doing which will have multiple angles and an in depth story line, no worries hah.

What's it going to be called?  It seem like it would be cool if those FX were used properly throughout the film.  Good luck.

The Show is called X3i, an Xmen based show. Me and a friend started it about a year ago and have been progressively getting better, He writes it and acts in it (he's going to school to want to write for comic books when he gets out) and I shoot/direct/act and edit in it. I have the first 3 episodes out with half of four done. The 1st season has almost been shot but we have a lil more left to shoot before we move on to the next season. Which will have proper lighting and mics. I'm doing this all for no money right now. Here's a link for the promo and if you're interested I can post a topic about it on the forums. I just feel bad because it'd be my third one out there hah.

This is the commercial thats running for us on our campus right now up at Ohio State. It's just introducing some of the main characters.

Chris, dude, were you living in New York City you and I would have made a kick @$$ entry for the Lightsaber Choreography Contest.

Nice effects dude but as stated before, would love to see it in context with a film. But when you do...Woooooooo, that's gonna be sweet lol. Keep up the good work. You rock Chris.

Those are so cool.  I watched your Promo, can't wait to see more of the show.  That is if you make it available on the Web.
